MLB The Show 22 Pre-Load Date and Download Size Details

MLB The Show 22 is out later in April. Here are the details on its pre-load date and the download size of the game on PS4 and PS5.

MLB The Show 22 will support dynamic 4K and HDR on the PS5. It is also coming to the PS4 in addition to Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. This is the first time the series has made its way to the Nintendo Switch or the first Nintendo hardware.

While the game is not out until a whole week, there have been some details shared on the pre-load date and its download size thanks to PlayStationGameSize, which tracks updates on the PlayStation Database.

When Can You Pre-Load MLB The Show 22

According to the Twitter account, you will be able to pre-load the game from March 29, 2022. This applies to the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. If you own the MVP or Deluxe Edition, you can get the pre-load earlier on March 25. This is almost 10 days ahead of the release date.

If you own the standard edition, the launch is planned for April 5, but if you own the MVP or Deluxe Edition, you can play the game early on April 1.

MLB The Show 22 Download Size

The download size of the game has been reported to be 59 GB. As we previously shared this file size, it has a requirement of roughly 72 GB. This likely doesn’t count the day one patch that might drop before the release of the game.

The game is all set to arrive on April 5, 2022, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
