Dragon Age fans should buckle up because a new game announcement is expected to drop at The Game Awards 2018.
Dragon Age series is in a long hiatus since the release of Dragon Age Inquisition earlier this generation. There have been no new game announcements or teasers for the series, which has cast a doubt over its fate. Now that this generation is coming to an end, there might be one game announcement left for it before it wraps up.
According to GamesBeat, Bioware will showcase a trailer for the next Dragon Age at The Game Awards. This trailer is supposedly just a simple teaser for a game that won’t release in two to three years. In other words, it is a short trailer that will likely be pre-rendered, but give the fans a glimpse at what to expect from the series in the future.
The Game Awards will air on December 6th and they currently have 10 new game announcements set for the event. One of the announcements was leaked to be Crash Team Racing Remaster, while the other is Dragon Age. As for the rest of the eight announcements, we will have to wait and find out when they are revealed tomorrow.
Dragon Age has received three games in the series so far. It started with Dragon Age Origins on the PS3 and Xbox One and continued on with a sequel to it on the same platforms. Dragon Age Inquisition has released this generation and won several awards for game of the year in 2015. Bioware is currently hard at work on Anthem launching on February 22th, 2019.
