A new Nintendo Direct has been announced for the coming Tuesday, and it will showcase brand new gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The console maker made the announcement on its official Twitter account. Nintendo asked fans to tune in to the upcoming Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 7:00 AM PT to watch roughly 10 minutes of gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Up until now, Nintendo has only shown brief snippets of gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in prior trailers, and the upcoming Nintendo Direct is the first time fans will get to see a decent chunk of what the game has to offer. Fans can, therefore, tune in to Nintendo’s official YouTube channel this Tuesday at 7:00 AM PT to witness what is likely to be another classic Zelda game in action for the very first time.
Previously, it was reported that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may receive DLC at some point in the future. The official website for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom contains a reference to unannounced DLC. Scrolling to the bottom of the page shows a number of footnotes, among which is the mention of DLC for the game.
The footnote states that the full version of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be required in order to use its DLC. It is also clarified that the aforementioned DLC will be sold separately. Therefore, this isn’t referring to any free DLC that the game may also receive in future.
Tears of the Kingdom is the latest action-adventure game in The Legend of Zelda series that is developed and published by Nintendo. It is the follow-up to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017), and will be available on the Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.
