No Man’s Sky Update 4.65 Improves Weapon Usability, Resolves Major Bugs

No Man’s Sky update 4.65 was released on May 1, 2024. It addresses several issues that players have reported since the release of the Orbital update.

This patch is now live on Steam and will be released soon on other platforms. Its main focus is to fix bugs across different aspects of the game. Notable improvements include enhancing the usability of the weapon upgrade shop on space stations, resolving issues causing ship damage when firing certain weapons, and fixing problems with redeeming monetary rewards for frigate fleet expeditions in currencies other than Units.

Moreover, the update addresses issues with base uploading, player ship docking, and incorrect tracking of trade surge data. It also improves the loading of player customization data, adjusts the size of Multi-Tools displayed in terminals aboard space stations, and resolves rare blockers and glitches in various missions and gameplay elements.

Visual enhancements and optimizations have been made, including improvements to holographic previews of ships and NPCs, tweaks to NPC holograms, and fixes for visual glitches in space stations and NPCs. Additionally, stability improvements have been implemented, such as optimizing memory usage, enhancing game stability on Switch, and fixing memory leaks and various crashes related to destructible props, rendering, navigation, teleporting, creature movement, third-person camera, and player weapons.
