Octopath Traveler is possibly making its debut on PC as a rating for the game was spotted on the Korean Game Rating Board.
Octopath Traveler was a new JRPG IP from Square Enix that made its debut exclusively on the Nintendo Switch last summer. It was developed by the same team which previously worked on Bravely Default. The game did really well and has shipped more than one million copies worldwide making it a success for Square Enix.

Octopath Traveler is also getting a mobile prequel but there is no news on a potential Western release for the mobile game. Since Octopath Traveler is only available for the Nintendo Switch, there was no other way to play the game if you owned a PC or other platforms.
Korean Game Rating Board has now rated the game for PC, which is how similar PC ports have leaked in the past. Notable among them are Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and Sunset Overdrive. The rating comes ahead of the official announcement but sometimes it can be delayed meaning if there is a slight chance of Octopath coming to PC, it can be a long wait.
Square Enix has been quite supportive of PC as a platform so if they port Octopath Traveler to PC, it won’t be a surprise to see them making move. It has been critically acclaimed and well-regarded among the fans and should find a decent audience on the PC platform along with other similar Japanese developed games.
