In the past few months, there have been extensive leaks about the PS5 Pro, including a rumored design and specs. Sony might have just confirmed its existence.
Sony is holding out a special event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, and the official website for this appears to hide the PS5 Pro in plain sight, that is if you know the leaked design that was shared last month.
The design appears to showcase a set of stripes and hardware dimensions similar to the PS5 Slim. The difference is that the PS5 Pro appeared to lack any disc drive and had more stripes than the PS5 Slim.
The official website had the design hidden in the background of the 30th Anniversary logo, and an eagled-eyed user managed to spot it. Check out the official design below.
If you can’t spot it in the background, here is a closer look at it.
PS5 Pro is currently rumored to be announced at the end of this month. While Sony hasn’t confirmed the State of Play, it is expected to be announced along with the PS5 Pro later this month. Given that the official website has this design, it pretty much confirms all but the existence of the PS5 Pro in the coming days.
Sony is celebrating the 30th anniversary of PlayStation with events such as a free trial of Gran Turismo 7, digital soundtracks from popular PlayStation franchises, a Shapes of Play collection, and a free online multiplayer weekend and esports tournaments on September 21 and 22. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
