Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition appears to have been prematurely revealed through the Xbox Store after a listing for the game briefly went live before being removed.
The now-unavailable page described the title as an enhanced version of Ubisoft’s classic platformer, featuring 4K resolution, 60 FPS support, quality-of-life improvements, and new collectibles. The store description invited players to “Jump back into an iconic 2D platforming adventure as you leap through 60+ colorful levels solo or in up to 4-player co-op, now enhanced in 4K/60 FPS with new quality-of-life features and brand-new collectibles.”
The listing also promoted what it called “THE DEFINITIVE EXPERIENCE,” stating that players would be able to enjoy “Rayman Origins like never before with 4K resolution, 60 FPS, and modern enhancements, including new quality-of-life features.”
One detail that quickly caught the attention of users was the listed price of $1,999, which is widely believed to be a placeholder rather than the actual retail cost. Shortly after being discovered, the Xbox Store page became inaccessible, suggesting the listing may have gone live ahead of an official announcement.
The appearance of the page adds credibility to recent reports claiming Ubisoft is preparing a remastered version of Rayman Origins for modern platforms. Earlier rumors suggested the project could be part of a broader effort to revive the Rayman franchise.
Those reports originated from social media user Intercellular, also known as “asdf,” who previously shared information related to the rumored Rayman Legends Retold. According to the leak, Ubisoft was reportedly planning to announce a remastered Rayman Origins alongside Rayman Legends Retold, though the company has yet to officially confirm either project.
Originally released in 2011, Rayman Origins marked the franchise’s return to 2D platforming and introduced Ubisoft’s UbiArt Framework engine. The title received widespread praise for its hand-drawn art style, cooperative gameplay, and challenging level design, laying the groundwork for 2013’s Rayman Legends.
