Riders Republic is an upcoming game from Ubisoft that was announced a while ago. It has been rated by ESRB suggesting a release date is due soon.
The rating conspicuously mentions that there are in-game purchases in Riders Republic with Random Items. The game has also been rated for the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. The game was announced as coming to the current and last generation consoles early this year. It will run at 60 FPS on the current-generation consoles and support up to 50 players at a time.
Here a look at the ESRB description for the game.
This is an extreme sports racing game in which players compete in mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and various flying competitions. Players explore open-world environments (e.g., National Parks) and engage in various competitions and events (e.g., Free-4-All, Trick Battles, Showdown Sessions) to earn status and gear. Some songs in the game contain references to drugs (e.g., “…my mother’s on crack/My sister can’t work ’cause her arms show tracks”; “Just handing out blow”) and suggestive material (e.g., “Hit her with the stroke, get her w*t like aqua”).
The game was originally set to release in early 2021 but the developers made the decision to move it to late 2021. They confirmed this news in a message posted on the official website.
“In September, we gave you a first look at our massive multiplayer playground in Riders Republic. We promised an action-packed outdoor sports park, filled with all-out mass races with more than 50 fellow riders on next-gen consoles, a variety of diverse activities and insane stunts. We can’t wait to have you traverse our vibrant world and live out your own rider’s fantasy.
Today, we want to let you know that we have made the decision to move our release to later this year. This additional time will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun fuelled experience to our players.”
Riders Republic will be release for Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
