Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Has a Gorgeous Pre-Order PS4 Theme In Japan

by Ali Haider

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a different pre-order theme on the Japanese PlayStation Store and it blows the Western one away in style.

The PlayStation Store usually offers pre-order themes for games and while they can be both dynamic and static, usually they are kept cheap and simple to just release as an extra incentive for pre-ordering the game. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a similar mostly generic theme for pre-order customers in the West, but it is a different story if we talk about the Japanese PlayStation Store.

As spotted on Reddit, the theme is sublime with not just falling leaves symbolizing a different season, it also switches nicely between the background and foreground and doesn’t just have a single logo of the game plastered on it.

The icon and color scheme seems to mesh well with the background even if the icons themselves are not really unique or exclusively made for the theme. Since this is a pre-order theme, unfortunately, there is no way to get it right now aside from getting the game from the Japanese PlayStation Store and that too as a pre-order and not a post-launch purchase.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice won’t get early review copies before launch. It has received an M rating by ESRB and the trophies and achievements for it have been already leaked online. The game’s file size is pretty modest next to the previous From Software games and it will be available to play on March 22, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
