Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Is Now Available Via EA Play In Some Regions

EA and Respawn Entertainment’s action adventure game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is now available to EA Play subscribers in some regions.

The PlayStation Store in the UK and a few other regions has now added Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to the EA Play catalog of games that subscribers can play at no additional cost. Given that the game arrived on store shelves on April 28, 2024, it’s not surprising to see it make its way to EA’s premium subscription service around a year later.

It’s worth pointing out that, unlike with Xbox Game Pass, EA Play is independent of the Extra or Premium tiers of PS Plus. As such, those looking to gain access to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor via subscription will need to join EA Play. The game hasn’t yet been added to EA Play on the Xbox store, though that is likely to change soon (Update: the game is now available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers).

Star Wars: Jedi series fans will be pleased to know that EA and Respawn aren’t yet done with the series. Previously, speaking during the franchise’s panel at Ocala Comic Con 2023, Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan revealed that a third game is currently in development. During the Q&A session, a fan asked Monaghan if there’s anything on the horizon, project-wise, that he would be able to share. He responded by saying that he’s already working on the third game in the Star Wars Jedi game series, and that Respawn is currently “in the process of doing it right now”. He mentioned that it is a “big” undertaking, and that when everything is said and done, the studio will come up with something “really cool” for fans.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on April 28, 2023. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are currently in development.
