Stellar Blade Added As Reward For PlayStation Stars Members

by Muhammad Ali Bari

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up’s action adventure game, Stellar Blade, has now been added as a reward for PlayStation Stars members.

PlayStation Stars members can now redeem their reward points in exchange for Stellar Blade. Those who are interested should take a look at their accumulated reward points and find out if they are eligible to grab the game. As seen in the screenshot below, the game will require a total of 17,500 reward points for redemption on PlayStation Stars. This is a hefty sum of points, so if you happen to fall short, you may need to purchase another game on your wishlist to gather enough reward points for Shift Up’s action adventure game.

PlayStation Stars List Of Free Games To Claim

The full list of free PlayStation Stars games that can be claimed via rewards points can be seen below.

  • Stellar Blade – 17,500 points
  • Bloodborne The Old Hunter – 5000 points
  • Minecraft – 5,000 points
  • Helldivers 2 – 10,000 points
  • Rise of the Ronin – 17,500 points
  • Destiny 2: Lightfall – 12,500 points
  • Dredge – 6,250 points
  • Stardew Valley – 3,750 points

If you haven’t yet become a PlayStation Stars member, you’ll need to download the app on your mobile device and register using your PSN account. Once that’s out of the way, you’ll begin receiving reward points for all future purchases. For every dollar spent on PlayStation Store purchases, you will receive 100 reward points. Furthermore, PS Plus members have additional avenues to get up to 150 reward points on a monthly basis by booting up a few games listed in PlayStation Stars campaigns.

It’s also worth mentioning that if you do not have the required number of reward points, you cannot cover the deficit using real money. For example, you’ll either need to have 17,500 points for Stellar Blade or you’ll need to pay $69.99 to purchase the game in its entirety. As such, Sony’s reward program lacks the flexibility that the Nintendo eShop offers with its coin rewards.
