The game was first spotted when references to Street Fighter 6 were discovered in a listing of the files directory. It shows that the game is currently in development at Capcom who was working with Keywords International on various aspects of the game.
The latest leak reveals that Street Fighter 6 will be released on PS4, Xbox Series, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. While the game going back to Xbox is not a surprise because of the console exclusivity the last generation was due to Sony making a deal with Capcom, the major surprise is the support for the current-generation consoles (or previous-generation as we prefer to call them now).
There are going to be more leaks heading into the future since the hackers had access to a lot of sensitive information through the emails of various Capcom employees. The leak has uncovered a roadmap for upcoming games like Resident Evil 8, which will release in April, along with a new Ace Attorney being in development at Capcom while localization is also confirmed for The Great Ace Attorney.
Street Fighter 6 is just a part of this leak which continues to get new information every day. It has been acknowledged by Capcom recently who also gave a timeline on when this ransomware attacked their servers.
