New And Improved Workbench In TLOU Part 1
Those who have been curious about the improvements brought to the workbench in The Last of Us Part 1 may now get a sneak peak via the leaked video seen below.
Controller Layout in The Last Of Us Part I
A screenshot of the controller layout for The Last of Us Part I can be seen below.
Based on the combat gameplay footage and the controller layout, the game’s controls appear to have remained largely the same on the PS5’s DualSense controller. Those who were expecting some of the new mechanics featured in The Last of Us Part II to make their way into the Part 1’s remake will likely be disappointed. The controller layout doesn’t indicate the inclusion of a prone or dodge mechanic. While the jump/climb button was there in the original, it was largely contextual, and the same appears to be the case in the remake.
Previously, the target frame rate, resolution, and gameplay improvements for the PS5 remake of The Last of Us Part 1 were also leaked via an unknown source, who has also shared a new graphical comparison between the new release and the original. The PS5 game is set to hit store shelves on September 2, 2022, while a PC version is also said to be in development and will arrive at a later date.
