Ubisoft is bringing 60 FPS support for Assassin’s Creed Origins by next week. An update is live on PlayStation Database that will go live soon.
Last year, Ubisoft mentioned that they are looking into adding 60 FPS support for Assassin’s Creed Origins. This patch is apparently available on the PlayStation Database. This was discovered by a Twitter account that keeps track of updates on the PlayStation Database. The update version for Assassin’s Creed Origins is 1.60 while the last update that was officially released is 1.44.
AC Origins was the first game in the new reboot trilogy for the series. It featured an open world and shifted the focus of the game to an action RPG. The game was released in October 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One in addition to PC.
While Ubisoft hasn’t shared any official information on this update, based on the information being available for this new patch, it might be released as soon as next week.
The patch has been discovered for the PS5 but it should launch on the Xbox Series X as well. Here are the patch notes that have been discovered on the PlayStation Database.
- Added a Franchise Menu
- Enabled higher framerate when running on Playstation 5 console
Ubisoft has released multiple Assassin’s Creed games this generation. Origins was followed by Odyssey and then Valhalla, which received a major expansion this year as well.
