Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady Games is not going to attend E3 this year. The developer is still not ready to reveal the details on their upcoming project so don’t expect any new announcement from them.
Batman Arkham trilogy was created and developed by Rocksteady Games and it set a new benchmark for superhero video games. While Insomniac Games were able to release another high-quality superhero video game, the bar was already set high by the work of Rocksteady Games.

After they released the last game in the Batman Arkham trilogy in 2015, Rocksteady Games has been missing in action for the past couple of years. They haven’t shown anything substantial regarding their current project but there literally hundreds of rumor about them. Some of it has been discovered by taking a look at their job openings and through this fans have speculated the nature of their upcoming project.
Rocksteady Games studio director, Sefton Hill confirmed that they won’t be attending the E3 this year in a tweet. He was sharing this in response to users who were asking about them attending the upcoming mega event.
“Hi all! A number of you have asked so we wanted to let you all know up front that Rocksteady Games won’t be showing at E3 this year. We’ll be watching as fans but remaining in London, hard at work on our next big project. Enjoy the show!”
Warner Bros. Interactive owns Rocksteady Games and they have just released Mortal Kombat 11. They also own Warner Bros. Montreal Studio, which is also working on a DC superhero game as per the rumors, but no details around it have been shared so far.
