Beat Saber Update 1.49 Is Out, Multiplayer Available For PSVR

Beat Games has brought multiplayer to the PSVR version of Beat Saber with update 1.49. There is additional bonus content for PC and PS4.

Beat Saber is finally playable in multiplayer for all PSVR users. This is released as part of the 1.49 update for PS4. The patch should be available to download now on all platforms.

On PC, the users can enjoy free Halloween content in the form of a Spooky Beat by Jaroslav Beck and a Halloween-themed environment. This content is also available on PS4 and PSVR.

The patch version for PC is 1.18.2 so make sure you are updated to the latest version of the game. Check the details on this update on Steam.

Ready for some spooky beats? We just released a special Halloween Update v1.18.2 with a brand new song Spooky Beat by Jaroslav Beck and a Halloween-themed environment.

Spooky Beat is Content ID free so that you can stream/record this track without limitations.

For the PSVR multiplayer update, it appears that you will need a PS Plus subscription to enjoy it. Cross-play support is currently not featured so users on PS4 will only get to match with the same platform. PC owners have been enjoying multiplayer for a while now.

Beat Saber is available now for PS4 and PC. It is only available to play on VR devices.
