Death Stranding Is Up For Pre-Order On Steam

by Ali Haider

Death Stranding has a Steam Store page already after the game launched today for PS4. The game will be out in Summer 2020 for PC.

Death Stranding will be published by 505 Games for PC. It was speculated that the game might be an Epic Games Store exclusive, but it appears this isn’t the case this time.

You can pre-order Death Stranding through the Steam Store page for $59.99, if you can wait until Summer 2020. You can get it today for PS4 if you don’t have the patience to wait for the PC version. The game is also up for pre-order on the Epic Games Store.

Interestingly, Sony owns the trademark for Death Stranding but instead of publishing the game on Steam, they are leaving it up to 505 Games. 505 Games have previously published Control and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Epic Games Store but instead of doing the same for Death Stranding, they are now going to launch it on Steam at the same time as other PC retail stores.

While the store pages for the PC version are up now, there are no system requirements listed for the PC version. That should change as the game gets closer to launch, right now, we know that the PS4 version file size is just under 50 GB with a 55 GB set as the minimum required hard disk space.
