Diablo 2: Resurrected Update Brings Ladder Season 7, Makes Minor Adjustments

Diablo 2: Resurrected update 2.7.3 (PS5 version is 1.029) launched earlier today for PC and consoles making minor changes to the game.

Patch 2.7.3 for Diablo II: Resurrected was released on May 21st, with updates and changes to the game. One of the main highlights of this patch is the start of Ladder Season 7 on May 23rd. Ladder Seasons allow players to race to Level 99, collect powerful loot, and compete for top spots on the Leaderboard. The start times for Ladder Season 7 vary by region, with North America beginning on May 23 at 05:00 p.m. PDT, Europe on May 24 at 02:00 a.m. CEST, and Asia on May 24 at 09:00 a.m. KST.

Ladder Season 7 will feature different modes, including the Pre-Expansion Ladder and Pre-Expansion Hardcore Ladder, which involve playing with the original four acts only, and the Ladder and Hardcore Ladder, which include playing five acts with the “Lord of Destruction” expansion content. Players new to Ladder Seasons may wonder what happens to their Shared Stash loot when the season ends. At the end of Ladder Season 6, all Ladder characters will be transferred to their respective non-ladder group, and items in the Shared Stash will go into a new Withdraw Only set of Shared Stash tabs. Any items from Ladder Season 5 stored in the Withdraw Only tabs will be lost, so players are advised to withdraw any items they want to keep from Season 6 before the end of Ladder Season 7.
