EA Access For PS4 Leaked Through The PlayStation Store

by Ali Haider

EA Access has been possibly leaked for the PlayStation 4 as the discovery was made on the PlayStation Store making reference to this subscription service.

EA Access is currently only available on PC and Xbox One. The subscription service offers EA published games and gives early access to all new games with a 10-hour trial that can be played before launch. Users who have an active subscription can also enjoy a 10% discount on purchasing EA published games from the digital store.

EA Access has never made its way to the PlayStation 4, mainly due to Sony restricting other subscription services on their platform, however, this might be changing if it is indeed a proper leak. So far, this was found through reddit where a user has shared an image of EA Access on the PlayStation Store which was seen on the PS4 Dashboard.

Another source has found evidence of EA Access mentioning the PlayStation Network and PS4 on the official website, however, this second source claims to have found it in the source code of the Webpage. The text asks the user to link their PlayStation Network account in order to launch EA Access. It also talks about signing in with it in order to buy the subscription.

E3 is just around the corner so if there is an announcement about the service, it can happen there. It is also available with a premium format on PC that gives full access to all new games but with a higher price. EA hasn’t shared any plans to make it available for consoles so it is restricted to PC for now.
