Given the critical and commercial success of Hogwarts Legacy, it’s highly likely that a sequel would at least be in consideration at this point in time. We’re inclined to believe that the game is currently in early conceptual phase, and it’ll be long before we hear anything about it.  That said, as always, we urge our readers to take such rumors and speculation with a grain of salt until there is actual confirmation.

Previously, it was reported that Hogwarts Legacy won’t be getting any DLC. Speaking during IGN Fan Fest 2023, Hogwarts Legacy game director Alan Tew explained that the development team currently has no DLC or expansion planned, as it had been occupied with bringing the game to life. However, plans may change in the future.

Despite there being no planned DLC for Hogwarts Legacy, the developer is actively providing post launch support via updates, with the recent one fixing several performance improvements and other lingering issues on consoles and PC. One of the key fixes was related to Owl Mail, which had a problem triggering sequential missions. This recent update has fixed the issue. Additionally, there were some rare crashes that occurred around certain in-game world events, which have been resolved.
