Nintendo hasn’t shared any details on what kind of announcements are expected from this Direct but there have been quite a few rumors. As Nintendo announced and released a Paper Mario game early this year, it was first leaked with a 2D Metroid announcement. This didn’t turn out to be the case and while we still have some time left, it is possible that this game could be from a third-party and will be announced tomorrow.
Some of the other games that are announced but haven’t been seen for quite a while are Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4. It is possible that fans might finally see Bayonetta 3 which hasn’t been shown since the original reveal back in 2017. It will be developed by Platinum Games so this counts as a third-party partner.

Another rumor that made the rounds recently was a Ninja Gaiden Sigma Trilogy for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It can be possibly announced at this upcoming Nintendo Direct.
Lastly, there is a rumor of a Monster Hunter game that is planned for the Nintendo Switch. This game could be announced tomorrow since Capcom has already confirmed a new Monster Hunter that will target high-school kids. An announcement for this game could be a part of this partner showcase.
Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, companies are struggling to release games on schedule and this has also impacted announcements because games could be potentially delayed.
