The Plucky Squire is an action adventure platformer developed by All Possible Futures and published by Devolver Digital. The game follows Jot and his friends, characters from a storybook, as they discover a 3D world beyond their book. It is set to release on September 17, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game’s story focuses on Jot, a hero who is expelled from his storybook by the villain Humgrump. Jot must navigate challenges both inside the book and in the outside world. Humgrump, realizing his role as the villain destined for defeat, alters the story by kicking Jot out and changing the narrative. To restore the storybook’s happy ending and save his friends from Humgrump’s dark forces, Jot must overcome a series of unique challenges he’s never encountered before.
