Red Dead Online Will Start From November 27, Early Access To Ultimate Edition Owners

Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Online will finally release starting tomorrow. This was announced through their official website.

Red Dead Online was teased during the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 and it is finally launching tomorrow as part of early access release owners of Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition. It is a rather strange method of delivery for such immersive online experience because beginning from November 27, the beta will gradually roll out to more users finally ending up with full public early access on November 30.

Here is how Rockstar Games is going to roll out beta across different users, limiting access to each of them with each passing day.

  • Tuesday, November 27th: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.
  • Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.
  • Thursday, November 29th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.
  • Friday, November 30th: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Online is reportedly based on the multiplayer experience featured in the first Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar Games has used their experience after developing the first game to create this new Red Dead Online multiplayer mode, and it seems to have worked out quite well for them.

Red Dead Online will be available to everyone who has access to the retail copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, once it comes out of the early access period. As for the release date for this public release, there is no estimated time given for it by Rockstar Games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was developed and published by Rockstar Games.
