Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Possibly In Development For PC

by Ali Haider

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently only available for the PS4 and Xbox One but the existence of a possible PC version has been discovered through the Linkedin profile of a former Rockstar Games employee.

Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn’t been officially confirmed for PC by Rockstar Games. Their previous major release, Grand Theft Auto V, did get a release on PC. This is why fans are hoping that RDR 2 will also eventually make its way to PC some day. This hasn’t been the case so far aside from some rumors that have surfaced regarding the PC version.

The new leak about the existence of a PC version comes from a discovery that was made on the Linkedin profile of former Rockstar Games employees. This time, there are two programmers who worked at Rockstar Toronto and Rockstar Leeds that have listed Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC along with the PS4 and Xbox One.

If the game is indeed coming to PC, it won’t be surprising news since Rockstar Games has released every one of their major games on the PC platform. The release date of the PC version is something that is still up in the air and if we go by their past release pattern, it is possible that this might take more than one year of its original release.

Grand Theft Auto V is the last major release by Rockstar Games that launched on the PC platform after getting released for consoles. It has done well for the company and sold through millions of copies so obviously, there is a large demand for games on the PC platform and Rockstar will have a hard time ignoring the release of a PC version of RDR 2.
