The upcoming Red Dead Redemption remaster is not developed in-house by Rockstar Games, and the game will sell for $50 despite the multiplayer mode getting removed.
According to latest news update on Rockstar Games’ official site, the Red Dead redemption remaster will be sold for the price of $50, even though it does not feature the original’s multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online. Additionally, the developer confirmed that the PS4 and Nintendo Switch ports are not being handled in-house. Instead, they are both being developed by Double Eleven Studios, which has previously been involved in the development of Fallout 76, Minecraft Dungeons and Rust Console Edition.
Red Dead Redemption on Nintendo Switch and PS4 will also include the Undead Nightmare DLC, the story expansion that reimagines the world of Red Dead Redemption, as Marston fights to survive a relentless zombie horde and searches for a cure in a horror twist on the Western genre. In addition, the ports will feature newly supported languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Latin American Spanish.
Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will be available for $49.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop and PlayStation Store on August 17, 2023, with physical releases arriving October 13, 2023. Those who are interested in pre-ordering the game may add it to their wish list on the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store to receive a notification when it becomes available.
