Resident Evil 2 Review Embargo Revealed

by Ali Haider

Resident Evil 2 reviews will start dropping on Tuesday and you will be able to see what the critics have to say about the game.

Resident Evil 2 received its first review by Famitsu which awarded it with a near perfect score. The embargo for the reviews will drop on Tuesday. January 22nd, as confirmed in a Tweet by Metacritic. This means Capcom is allowing the critics to share their views on the game three days ahead of the official launch date.

Resident Evil 2 has received a 1-shot demo which is a limited time demo available on the digital storefronts for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This demo is restricted to just one playthrough and 30 minutes, so there are not many people who have managed to complete it. There is a workaround for it on PC but there is no other proper way to do this trick on consoles.

Resident Evil 2 is a complete remake of the original game that launched on the PS1. As a cult classic, it has a lot of hype behind it because it featured the debut of two of the most popular series lead: Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.

Regardless, the game is out soon and will be released on January 25th, which is this Friday. If you have waited for it so long, there is no hard in waiting just a little bit more to get the game once it comes out this week. There are some stores that have broken the street date for the game and are selling early copies leading to videos from it leaking online.
