Recently, Sanborns, a Mexican retailer, had seemingly revealed the release date for the Silent Hill 2 remake, stating it would be available on May 30, 2024. However, it’s worth considering that the listed date may just be a placeholder for the game’s actual release date, which has yet to be confirmed by the publisher.

Then again, earlier signs had also indicated a release within the earlier portion of 2024. A discord user had shared his Instagram conversation with Silent Hill 2 remake voice actor Luke Roberts, who plays the role of James Sutherland, in which he had asked about the game’s release date. In response Roberts had told the fan that he believed the survival horror title will arrive sometime in early 2024. Also, it was not long ago that Bloober Team President Piotr Babieno had stated that the game’s development was almost complete, though he did also mention that a potential release date announcement depended entirely on the publisher, Konami.

Silent Hill 2 is an upcoming survival horror title that is set to be released sometime this year in 2024 for PlayStation 5 and Windows. At launch, the game is a timed console exclusive for PS5, before being eligible for release on other platforms one year later.
