Terminator is getting an officially licensed video game, Terminator Resistance. This was revealed with a trailer today and confirmed for consoles and PC.

Terminator Resistance is a single-player first-person shooter by developer Reef Entertainment. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have that great of a track record. The trailer does appear to show gameplay moments along with a lot of cinematic action. It is not confirmed if these are indeed the real-time visuals or they were all part of a pre-rendered trailer. The game looks great and the small snippets of gameplay looked decent enough, but the important point is the story.

This video game has been officially licensed to use Terminator 1 and Terminator 2 so the story will be supposedly set during these two movies.
