Saber Interactive has released a new update for World War Z today that implements a number of fixes for the game crashing on the PS4. Here’s what is fixed with this update.

World War Z will get a new Tokyo mission and enemy zombie type in an update that is due out later this week. This update was teased by the developers as coming soon but apparently, it is not a part of this new World War Z update 1.04 on PS4.

Today, the developers have released a quick hotfix to resolve the issue with the game crashing on the PS4. The following issues should be resolved after installing this new update on PS4, as shared by the developers.

  • Fixed frequent crashes on a loading screen.
  • Fixed frequent crashes affecting PS4 Pro users.
  • Fixed a large number of gameplay crashes.

One of the main issue that most players were encountering on the PS4 Pro was the game crashing randomly. It was a frustrating experience if you were playing online with a friend since they had to invite you back into the party to start the mission again. As seen with the fixes included in this World War Z update 1.04, this should be resolved by now.
