Xbox Game Pass January Update Adds A Plague Tale and More

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy the critically-acclaimed A Plague Tale, and the Valkyria Profile spiritual successor Indivisible this month.

Microsoft has announced a new update to Xbox Game Pass confirming the following games will be a part of the console lineup. The games will be added to the service from January 23 and beyond.

Here are the four games that are being added to the subscription service before the month comes to an end. A Plague Tale was initially confirmed to launch for PC only version of Game Pass, but it is now also coming to the Console.

  • A Plague Tale (January 23)
  • Indivisible (January 23)
  • Sea Salt (January 30)
  • Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour (January 30)

As a reminder, the following games have been added to the service earlier this month. You can play them through your subscription by grabbing them on your choice of platform.

  • Children of Morta (Console and PC)
  • Frostpunk: (ID@Xbox) (Console and PC)
  • Grand Theft Auto: V (Console only)
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (Console only)
  • Tekken 7 (Console only)

Here are the games that will be leaving the subscription service later this month. You need to make sure to complete them before they are removed from the service.

  • Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
  • Resident Evil 4
  • Saint’s Row The Third
  • The Division
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

One of the upcoming games that are rumored is Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 while the first game is going to be removed from the service. In addition to Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, the other game that is rumored to launch soon for Game Pass is Yakuza Zero. Microsoft has plans to add several more games to its subscription service in the coming days.
