Cuphead will release on the Nintendo Switch and the developers are also working on a brand new update for the game that will be out later in April.
Cuphead has been rumored for the Nintendo Switch along with the Xbox Game Pass, so this rumor has finally turned out to be true. Along with Cuphead, the other game that was rumored was Ori 2, and if you saw the announcement of Cuphead, Nintendo thanks Microsoft for making it possible to get the game ported on the Nintendo Switch.
Cuphead is a tough-as-nails platformer that originally launched for the Xbox One and PC. The game is also getting some new DLC later this year adding several new levels and a major new playable character, but before releasing the DLC, the developers are releasing a big quality-of-life update on April 18 for the current users and presumably the Nintendo Switch launch version.

This update will implement many important changes that include revamping every cutscene from static scenes to fully animated ones and many major gameplay improvements along with Mugman being playable in the game. Since this update was announced for the Xbox One version, it can be assumed that it will ship with the Nintendo Switch.
Cuphead will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch starting from April 18 along with a free content update for the Xbox One.
