Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development hell ever since it was revealed with gameplay footage at PlayStation Experience 2015, but this might change soon as confirmed by the game director.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was originally announced at E3 2015 with a pre-rendered trailer. It was revealed then that the game will be directed b Tetsuya Nomura and produced by Yoshinori Kitase. The story writer was Kazushige Nojima who has previously worked on the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series.
After all these years, there is no major update shared for the game, but that might change soon. Speaking about their 2019 plans, the game director Tetsuya Nomura, and producer, Yoshinori Kitase, talked about how they want to reveal more information about Final Fantasy VII Remake.
