by Salal Awan

Fortnite was updated today to version 3.00 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Epic Games has shared the patch notes for this update.

While this new update is releasing relatively soon after the last one, it appears to focus on a maintenance patch that was deployed on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There is no similar update on Nintendo Switch, PS5, or Xbox Series. The same is true for Android.

“If you’re experiencing a crash specifically when launching Fortnite on PC, please select “Verify” in the Epic Games launcher. You can access this option by clicking “…” on Fortnite in your Library, ” said Epic Games on the official Fortnite support account.

There was no server downtime for this update. It was deployed as soon as the patch was ready to go live on all platforms.

Fortnite has continued to evolve with weekly or monthly updates and new seasons. It is one of the top-performing free-to-play games on PlayStation, Xbox One, Nintendo eShop, PC, and Android devices.
