Minecraft Update 2.15 Released, Here Are The Patch Notes

Mojang has updated Minecraft to version 2.15 for PS4. They have released this update after the PSVR patch. Here are the patch notes.

The PSVR update has allowed Minecraft to be played on a PSVR. This was a free update that was released earlier this week by Mojang. If you were experiencing issues after the last update, this new one appears to have correct it and improved overall stability.

Minecraft is available in VR on PC, however, with the PSVR update, it is now possible to play it in VR mode on the PS4 as well. You can have a look at Minecraft 2.15 update patch notes below.

Minecraft Update 2.15 Patch Notes 1.16.60

This hotfix is rolling out on PlayStation 4 to improve stability issues that were introduced in the 1.16.42 update. We’re continuing to make further stability improvements so please continue to engage with us through bugs.mojang.com and keep the bug reports coming.

Fixes:

  • Improved stability and reduced crashes on PlayStation 4

The download size of this update is rather small, weighing in just under 100 MB. It is recommended to download the update in order to resolve any issues with the PS4 crashing after the last patch.

PSVR will be backward compatible on the PS5. Sony hasn’t announced a new version of the PSVR for PS5 but they have confirmed a new HD camera.
