Avengers Endgame fans can finally rest easy knowing the character that was played by Katherine Langford was at one point a part of the movie. It ended up being on the cutting floor as a deleted scene that can be possibly included with a home media release.
Avengers Endgame is a huge movie with a runtime that is over three hours long. It is already large enough that it was hard to imagine it getting more screentime, but apparently, there are still a couple of deleted scenes that didn’t make the cut. Please be adviced that this article might contain spoilers for the ending of the movie.

One of these scenes featured Katherine Langford, known for her lead role in the Netflix drama 13 Reasons Why. She played the role of Morgan Stark, who is the daughter of Tony Stark in the movie. At the end of the movie, once Tony Stark uses his snap with the Infinity Gauntlet, he meets Morgan Stark in the same dimension where Thanos saw a young Gamora at the end of Infinity War.
Avengers Endgame film directors, Joe Russo, and Anthony Russo explained this deleted scene and confirmed that Katherine Langford indeed had an acting role for the movie but it was cut because this additional scene confused the audience.
“What we realized about it was we didn’t feel an emotional association with the adult version of his daughter. It wasn’t resonating with us on an emotional level, which is why we moved away [from] it,” The Russos said. “The intention was that his future daughter forgave him, and gave him peace to go. And the idea felt resonant, but there were just too many ideas in an overly complicated movie.”
Avengers Endgame is breaking records all over the world and has already grossed more than $2 billion to pass the cumulative worldwide gross of Titanic. It also opened to a massive debut of more than $1.2 billion in its debut week.
