Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition is a port of the Nintendo Switch game that itself was a port of Dragon Quest XI for PS4 and PC. This release will add several new features including new story events, an orchestrated soundtrack, and more.

Dragon Quest XI S is confirmed to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will launch on the same day as its release for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
According to a listing on OrbisPatches, which tracks various PSN releases, a demo is reportedly launching soon for Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition. While this leak is only for the PS4, it won’t be a surprise to see the demo releasing for Xbox One and PC as well. It was already available on the Nintendo Switch and reportedly features hours of gameplay footage with an option to transfer the save data to the full game once it is out.
