Ni No Kuni Remastered Launch Trailer Shows Ghibli Magic

Bandai Namco has shared the launch trailer for their upcoming RPG, Ni No Kuni Remastered. The game is slated to launch on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Ni No Kuni Remastered is a port of the PS3 original. This was first released for the Nintendo DS and then a full-scale game later launched for the PS3. This was the first time Studio Ghibli had collaborated with Level 5. They handled the story concept and art for the whole game making it one of the selling points for it.

The remastered version of the game supports higher resolution and frame rate on the PS4 and PC. It doesn’t seem to support the remastered features for the Nintendo Switch version. The game is out on September 20 so Bandai Namco has now shared a launch trailer ahead of it.

Ni No Kuni Remastered was announced by Bandai Namco during this year’s E3. The game was already leaked ahead of its official announcement along with Elden Ring and Tales of Arise.

The launch trailer for Ni No Kuni Remastered teases the animated cutscenes which were developed by Studio Ghibli and the adorable Drippy, who is a companion to the lead character Oliver. You can buy the game once it is out on September 20.

If you are curious to know the difference between the PS4 and Nintendo Switch version, Bandai Namco has confirmed that the PS4 will run it at 1080p and 60 FPS. It is a little different for the PS4 Pro which can also run it at a higher resolution at 30 FPS. as for the Nintendo Switch, it only supports 720p in portable mode and 1080p in docked mode.
