SMS Studio has released update 3.02 for God of War Ragnarok today and implemented a bug fix related to gameplay as seen in the patch notes.
This patch appears to be released without any comment from Sony Santa Monica Studio and considering its small size, it doesn’t appear to offer any new features as well. This update is related to a bug with the encounters in the game and has been resolved after downloading the patch. The update is out on PS4 and PS5.
If you want to get the latest version of the game, you will be required to download this update which will patch the game to version 3.02 or 3.002 based on your platform. As for the patch notes for the God of War Ragnarok 3.02 update, see the details below.

Based on these patch notes provided by Sony Santa Monica Studio, there are not many fixes listed in them. This is thus a small hotfix kind of update for the game.
Sony Santa Monica Studio is also planning to bring a new game plus mode which is planned to launch soon, but this doesn’t appear to be an update related to this mode. It is still coming in early 2023 but no timeline has been provided yet on when the update will launch on PS4 and PS5.
God of War Ragnarok marks the end of the Norse Saga in the series. It stars Kratos and his son Atreus on a journey to stop Ragnarok. The game picks up after the events of the God of War reboot in 2018 and it was released for the PS4 and PS5 in November last year. It became the fastest-selling game published by Sony in its debut week with more than four million copies sold worldwide.
