Capcom is celebrating the release date announcement with a PC trailer that showcases the game running at 4K and 60 FPS. This feat is only possible on a PC while the console version runs at 30 FPS.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne is a new expansion for the series that was first revealed at The Game Awards 2018. This expansion has launched first for PS4 and Xbox One and comes after one and a half years of the launch of the original game.

The PC version of Iceborne doesn’t seem to offer any additional features but the ability to play it at a higher frame rate and resolution should make the wait worth it for those who have the original game on PC. Iceborne adds a whole new region and several new monsters to the game.
