As posted on The Last of Us subreddit, the file size of the game is roughly 78.3 GB.

So how well does it compare to other PlayStation 4 exclusives? We have rounded up a list of all the major exclusive games with their file sizes listed below.

  • Uncharted 4 – 48 GB
  • Uncharted The Lost Legacy – 44.7 GB
  • The Order 1886 – 29.4 GB
  • Bloodborne – 25.3 GB
  • Killzone Shadowfall – 39.7 GB
  • God of War – 44.46 GB
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man – 45 GB
  • Days Gone – 38 GB (after the latest update)
  • The Last of Us Remastered – 43.54 GB
  • Ratchet and Clank – 26.4 GB

The Last of Us Part 2 is the largest game in terms of file size when it comes to PS4 exclusives. If we count Final Fantasy VII Remake as one of them, even though it is timed exclusive, then it won’t hold this crown since Final Fantasy VII Remake is roughly 90.66 GB. It is still a substantial jump for a first-party exclusive game on PS4. For comparison, the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima requires a minimum file space of 50 GB.
